Ed Schultz Remark: Who Cares?

Earlier in the week, Air America Radio's Randi Rhodes got in trouble for remarks made about Hillary Clinton. What she said was harsh, but it was in the context of a comedy bit off the radio. Nonetheless, she was suspended by her network, raising interest about her future in radio.

Now, one of her competitors (one she is not fond of), Ed Schultz--not a member of the Air America network--has made a comment that has gotten him into the news. This could have been an effort to steal the limelight from Randi, or it could have just been a coincidence. In any event, I'm not sure I understand what the fuss is about. Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity regularly make statements much more inflammatory than this.
